I look at the beautiful picture of you and me

In an outfit, ofcourse, you chose for me
Striking unfamiliar poses to the both of us just to play along until the shutter clicks
Happy smiles and girlish giggles are drawn from within our souls
Standing next to you is so comfortable wishing our picture comes out beautiful

Almost everyone you know uses this exact name formula
Not long ago you found your man
And for quite a while I felt alone
Realizing you found the one and seeing your eyes glimmer with love
The way you talk, laugh and touch
My heart flutters with joy for your happiness
Just as it did, when I saw you coming down the stairs
Beautifully dressed with this nervous smile on your ‘miljah’ day
I stood in the corner … heavily breathing with my face way up high
