The contradiction that keeps it all balanced

الملاقة” How can you tell people to STOP … I don’t know what it’s called in English … or is it just a Kuwaiti special like “التحلطم” no other synonyms are found in other languages …

When I face someone “ملييييييييييييييق” GOD, I just turn the other way and go, because if I stay any longer after their supposedly funny line, I would burst into tears or dust for that matter, just to visualize to them the horrible feeling that is running through my bones that can’t be translated to words …

The amazing thing, these people actually believe they are funny and you see them laughing … and you’ll be the only person with their out bugged eyes and stunned dropped jaw thus singling you out as the only stupid person who didn’t get the OH-MY-GOD-SO-DAMN-FUNNY-JOKE!!! After pinpointing these people, just get your business done quickly and don’t socialize or over stay. Just do what you have to do and run. If they try out there funny lines, change the subject. “لا صج … انزين …” and continue from there..

On the other hand, you find those who “يدزها على البراد” like in the middle of the sentence, a quickie. I want to stop everything and scream “now that is what I call funny!!! clap people clap” but I refrain myself. Those are the people who don’t try being funny, they just are. You’ll see people laughing all around them and they just continue. Not all laughing, the “مليقيييين” people believe what they just said is funnier.

And that keeps the world balanced … we just want the scale tipped a little over to the second type.
