Peak into Life

I sometimes love watching people when they are not noticing … gives me a new perspective in life … it’s not about being ‘malgoofa’ because I hate it … people who are so into their own world at these moments in time that they really don’t notice others around them, and I allow myself to be part of their world and try to imagine it even if for a few seconds that is if I weren’t so involved into my own moments already

Once I was in a coffee shop and I hear these two couples fighting, actually they didn’t care about who is watching or listening, the mother streamed out and the father followed her shouting, their daughter started crying and wanted to run after them but their maid stopped her but she kept on screaming and kicking, even when the father came and grabbed her and dragged her outside … I wondered where the woman went and after few minutes I saw her going in the direction of where the rest of her family went … they were an Egyptian couple and I thought it must be hard for both couples to be away from home and have all these differences that they apparently were trying to work out because they were out together all dressed up .. I wonder what happened to them …

The other day, early morning as I was having breakfast outside, I saw two elderly couples, I love old couples, they were both dressed up, she was in a summery outfit a skirt showing off a bit of her legs and he was in a suite with training shoes … they both had white hair and he was holding her hand and asking her where she wanted to sit and pulled the chair for her … how did they meet and how far did they go to reach today, what were the ups and downs and was it worth it … that’s how it is supposed to be …I don’t know how they started and how they went but I loved what I saw …

A boy is running across laughing and his mother was playing with him, she is pretending to be a monster and chasing him … the father runs and gets the camera and snaps away … I smiled and I looked around and saw no maid, just the three of them having a blast and capturing these beautiful times … how joyful to see that couples still do have fun with their kids …

I sat waiting for my appointment … and there I saw a nice woman and a beautiful daughter … I smiled and sat … they call out a name … the daughter stares at her mother and she laughs, you want me to go in with you … she holds her hands and walks her to the Dr’s office … no yelling or calling her names … her daughter just glanced at her direction and she knew what she was asking for … I pictured them together doing all the mother-daughter activities … how does the mother look so peaceful and calm … I haven’t seen I content mother in a long time and not complaining about her kids … I wonder how will they grow up to be …

I wonder if I ever crossed someone who was wondering about my life, that would be interesting…

We run into each other life’s, to share moments and then split to continue with our lives and maybe we’ll meet again but never really know it, we pick up stuff along the way that we really don’t actually know where we picked them up from …

I think I make out too much of LIFE … and it’s just LIFE, don’t make a big deal
