Keep in mind that I didn’t search for this, we just entered an electronic store and it was there, the Asus Eee PC, I read about them but haven’t seen one actually … till I went to Dubai -notice the reference to Dubai- ;P

From the specs, it isn’t actually the thing to go and buy but have you seen the price … around 99 KD!

It’s operating system is Linux based, as you can see most of the programs you normally need on daily basis are integrated, browser, email client, chatting, word processing, etc. It can support other operating systems as well. Based on the reviews this light weight Linux version boots up really fast with no noise

I believe it is perfect for taking around for just browsing your email when travelling and you don’t need to carry around that heavy laptop or simply if you are in a coffee shop for light browsing using basic PC functionalities and besides it’s cheap you can even give it to younger kids when they’re giving you a hard time about borrowing your laptop

I wonder if they have it here in Kuwait and if they do … how much …
