Honesty Thoughts

Honesty, I admire Honesty in a person

It is easy being deceiving, vague, un-opinionated, but honest and truthful, now that takes something

You can always tell what the other person wants to hear

I think it’s widely believed that honesty is associated with rudeness but why??

Honesty like any other, can be constructive and destructive

It is always assumed you don’t want to hear the honest point of view because what you’re about to hear is not a compliment

Compliments and nice things to say are as easy as they come and after a while they do no good

But when constructive criticism comes your way based on honest opinion, it builds something and help achieve a new level whether personally or professionally

You reach a certain age where you can distinguish when someone is praising you “by-default” or you actually deserve it but what rarely comes your way is guidelines and pointers that help you fill up whatever is missing in the other person’s opinion

Why is it when someone is criticizing, automatically it is assumed they must be jealous or threatened .. something like that

Nobody’s perfect, that’s why there are mentors and people before us who paved the way

Being Honest comes on different aspects, being honest toward others but most importantly to one’s self

Denial … when people believe that honest people are idealistic posers, a huge sham composed for larger self-indulgent purposes!

There is nothing easier than to tag along with the rest, nod heads, agree on everything and not taking an honest moment and saying what you truly believe in and think or simply not say anything

Nevertheless, sometimes it is worth it and it matters to be honest and others it doesn’t so you might as well keep it to yourself

I like it when people say things as they are given that they mean well and really want to pass something good over
