I’m not sure how it is with guys but I believe most girls who are single go through this

Seems like working and getting paid every month is kind of bothering some people, because all they say when talking about money and work is

“شعندج انتي … خو بروحج ما تحاتيين شي”

How would you know? what is going on in my life. I didn’t get myself an expensive car so what my money “طايح ابجبدي”

Maybe I have other plans, my appreciation to things are different, my needs are different

I never ask more than what I got, not as a kid, not as a teenager, not when in college and definitely not now when I am actually making my own money

Sometimes I want to invite people on my pay day, bring in all my salary and set the whole thing on fire!

When people start asking questions just to know how much you actually make

“Are you going to be included in the 50 KD salary raise??“

“Isn’t that for people who’s salary is less than 1000 KD?“

“yeah … so …“

Even when I buy stuff, go places, anything that I pay for, they naturally assume I am doing this because I have too much money and nothing better to do with it

Everyone has responsibilities that they need to adjust to, I know for a fact it doesn’t matter how much money you have if you don’t utilize it wisely, it is never going to be enough whether you make 300, 500, 1000, 5000 KD

“لو انا منج جان سويت و شريت و رحت”

The problem, people who compare themselves with you are sometimes single too but they assume they have more responsibilities because they pay 80 KD a month for their car and they give their parents this and that … Not only that, their job is 3 hours a day and they graduated from a religious major!

Of course I am entitled to higher paycheck, I’m from a scientific major, my working hours are much longer, within these hours I actually “work”, I get called in the weekends, hell even after working hours!! See no comparison and yet they want to be equal!!!

And if they actually want to calculate how much each of us get paid by the hour, divide the whole salary by the total hours they work, they’ll see in the end they actually are paid higher than I am

They always want to know how you spend your money, “Why, are you going to pay me if what I make is not enough??” I don’t understand this sense of “legafa”

All their assumptions is built on fantasies, the difference is I don’t walk around talking about my business to anybody and making excuses why at the end of the month I have nothing left

Live with it, From an outsider point of view, one of the perks of being single is I have less headache to deal with. Is it my fault ??
