Car Mileage

So today We were talking about how many kilometres our cars have crossed so far
I had mine since late 2001, WOW it’s been seven years masha’Allah 
I took this snap when it crossed the 200,000 mark. Now it’s a little over 207,000 km
I just love it, when I finally decide to sell it, I want to give it to an old couple or someone who drives it occasionally and always keep it in the shades, kinda spoil it, in a good way. Or we’ll just follow family tradition and pass it on to the youngsters ;P
Microsoft Way

These days, I have no energy, maybe because I am fasting. Anyway, to run from dealing with the real issues, like upgrading to exchange 2007, I poke around other stuff!
I had the network monitoring application installed, it should expire by the end of the week. I’m pretty sure we’ll not go with this solution, though I like it. We’ll explore Cisco options or some other high end solution
This was supposed to be light, a brisk breeze configuration, I decided to look into Microsoft and see their Microsoft office server solutions
With Microsoft, it’s never simple! So I wanted to implement Project Server and perhaps Form Server, I just want that! See what I benefit from. But NO they talk about having infopath, sharepoint, etc. OK I know all can be integrated together, but let’s take it one step at a time! I have no idea what infopath is ??? and their site on their products, confuses me more. So I got fed up and just went ahead and shot up my VmWare machines and downloaded the stuff to test
But I am thinking of utilizing live servers, because my PC slowed down plenty and it’s killing me slowly
I’ll start with the Project Server and see where we go from there

Entertainment Thoughts

I’m thinking about going to the cinema and then immediately dismiss the ridiculous idea! Last time I went to the movies it was horrible, the film was cut and chopped in all places and I had to pay 3KD! I can get DVD quality for 1KD or free off of shareware!!
I don’t understand why KNCC censors their movies. I’m all with let’s impose our traditions and culture but have you stepped out to any of our malls lately. OK, let’s no pour gas on fire, but the way the movies are displayed is annoying. You’re watching one scene and then taken to another, not understanding what the hell is happening! You might as well just not show the movie at all and save us all the agony
One solution is to actually rate the movies, if it contains explicit material, have only audience who meet the age criteria enter and NO kids
I was pondering going to Van Diesel’s movie but I’m afraid I’ll get a headache from all the blackouts in the movie! So I think I’ll stick to animations. Whatever movie I want I’ll just wait till the DVD is released

We need to break the law!
This statement sums up in a nutshell how our lives are … BORING!
We fall into this occurring routine that never ends, we keep saying we need NOT to make our work number one, but we end up doing that … because there is nothing else or we’re too compassionate or workaholics but I’d like to think it’s because there is nothing else
Every now and then we discuss and argue on the same issue and yet we don’t reach a solution
Of course living here in Kuwait isn’t helping at all, it’s somehow not an exciting country, small, familiar and the weather is HOT
I tried to enroll into a programming course but the institute doesn’t offer it so I put that on the shelf
What do you mean you want to break the law, you already did. how many times have you broke the traffic light
That’s old, we need something new

Yam3awda, we old ladies need to get our old butts to bed and sleep. I am blogging with my eyes half open. Wa7da prays the Fajer and stays awake and the other is up and running around 7.30 AM, who are we kidding about getting crazy, unless we join a crazy person in the group!
To make matters worse, the last exciting thing we did, was making that letter appear on the screen using VHDL programming ;p laaaaa and more exciting when we made it drop randomly hehehehehe -don’t kill me-
Seriously we need HELP .. we are dying of boredom!!
Not Over

I had to open my big mouth! Brag about being it an end of an era … No more dropping my bros off to school ….
I was late today and I rushed quickly to my car and my mobile rings it’s my lil bro

So with two of them in my car, the sight of our block at 7.15 AM all cars are jammed in front of schools, it’s horrible. Now I had to drop them off in two different schools. YES, though they are both in high school, one is in each school. beats up the inconvenience of the far away single school !!
Dropped the first one and then the second one and off to find a way around the traffic jam and boy what a crowd … cars were NOT moving and of course I was late
Previously I had experience with all the ins and outs of their school routes, which roads to avoid, what, where, at what time … all figured out … and now this …
I can safely say, this will never end till they start driving and then forget they ever had a sister. That’s always the case 
–I guess sisters with younger brothers can relate to this-
Until then, I guess this isn’t over, unless I sneak out of the house extra early, hmmmm, that sounds like a good idea. Though knowing my bros they would probably be waiting …

Dexter

So I’ve been watching alot of shows lately and one of them is Dexter – not the cartoon character like my brother suggested! -
It’s about boy who’s mother gets killed when he was a kid and then was taken in by a cop. He turns out to be a twisted disturbed boy and he’s father ends up teaching him to use his abnormality for a good cause. Thus Dexter follows what is called Harry’s Code to kill others and satisfy his passion
It sound like a sick series but really it isn’t, it surprisingly funny and witty. I watched season 1 and 2. Now I can’t wait for season 3. Season 1 was full of surprises and unpredictable, but Season 2, I kind of knew how it would end but didn’t know how they’ll end up there. I like the fact that he doesn’t leave loose ends, which is smart
What popped into my mind as I was watching Dexter’s dark side is “The Joker” from batman … Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we found the next “Joker”, it’s Dexter Morgan – Don’t know his real name -
Take a look at him, He has so much potentials into becoming this sick maniac evil. He just needs to lose the normal pretence to fit in and let his wild side go with a hint of crazy and there you go … the recipe of “Joker” not to forget the face painting and hideous scar … Just imagine … wouldn’t he make a perfect new “Joker” or just a good one ?? I need to start a petition!
