Dreading Thoughts

dreading-work

I’m dreading going to work! Don’t want to close my eyes because I don’t want to face the morning. I thought, and boy was I wrong, that the past three working days will swiftly go by, they did go by knocking me over.

The thing about taking a break is probably when you get back, things will be stacked up … just waiting for you.

One mistake I did, was wear heels to work because I thought I wouldn’t be moving too much! Yeah right!! After 3aser, I had to go back home change and then back to work to finalize tasks. And then they wonder why I don’t dress up!! It’s not my fault.

I just checked my email, “el-hamdellah” everything seems going alright, couple of requests here and there.

I kept my work mobile on for most of the day, but turned it off early today because some creep is harassing me, the thing I wouldn’t be this annoyed if it were my personal mobile. To me, if my work mobile rings, it’s bad news!  I have to pick it up even if I don’t know the number no matter from which country the incoming call is from. So I hate it when someone starts bullshitting his nonsense over my work mobile. “ana wein oo enta wein” … Can I sue him ??

What I plan and need to do is, wake up … actually get moving away from the bed not kicking and crying, take a shower, drink tea, get in the car, go to work and not escape to KSA -nearest country-, get to work on time, go to the building and sit in my partition, drink my mega morning coffee and start double checking and work … and then figure out my way from there ….

I need to suck it up for the next couple of weeks because it’s my supervisor’s turn to take leave :(

That literally drove me nuts in my off time! If my work phone rings then something is wrong! I have made it a point now to switch off my phone after 6 pm if I’m at home because work is never done, and I’m not up for it!

    Alah esa3dich!

Ur absolutely right … work never ends!

Straight out of vacation, you kind of push back the time you close your work mobile, with the upcoming weeks insha’Allah it gets better

Yeah, my Uncle used to tell me: “Bashar, most important thing is that when you wake up in the morning, turning your car on, you’re happy to go to work”. I used to fight sleep for the same reason.

Marzouq: Yeah, even when I’m on leave they used to call and SMS after midnight. Can’t I get a life?

Bashar, I wake up, get to work, and think when will it be over ;P but because I’m overloaded now, you know IT it’s either nothing or everything!! So I enjoyed the nothing a while back, now, the nonsense of it all ;P
