<a href="http://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tag_iframe.asp" rel="nofollow">IFRAME</a> is just a window inside your HTML page to another html page anywhere on the web. Their thought is this is a proxy kind open for my App Server to the internal one, and outsiders wont be able to access the internal server except through my page. I even demonstrated it with an IFRAME to Google.

All IT and big Planning Managers who are designing and securing the network didnt know or get it! Proof? Next week again an email request after some tech guy got busted for not doing his work: B

Dear Bashar,

I am still waiting for your application server IP so that I can white list it to access the xx internal server.

I was like GOD PLEASE MAKE IT END! How hard is it to understand? Even after all the explanations, they were like Ohh so you wanna do it this way, through proxy? NO... This is the way to do it, and it has nothing to do with us. It's got to do with your PROXY!!!!

LOL, yeah. I remember that. Only it wasn't out of good motives. They already had meetings, discussed the technical part, and somehow assumed me being an Application Server admin and developer, I can proxy the requests using an IFRAME from the open web server securely to the local one.

After series of email clashes, and three detailed emails that included all IT heads... They still didn't get it! They think an IFRAME is a proxy server!
