Controlling Thoughts

“That’s a bit controlling”

I was having a discussion with my friend that in a situation of meeting an old acquaintance, I’d rather remember them and they don’t remember me and not the other way around. We might be lucky and both remember each other!

See because of my bad memory in remembering names, I tend to be embarrassed when someone calls me by my name and I can’t do that, or just utter the wrong name.

It didn’t occur to me, it was me acting a bit controlling. My own interpretation, is that I feel bad when I’m put in such situation. I believe the other person might feel offended or a bit hurt. I on the other hand, don’t give it much thought if someone remembers me or not, because I’m that quiet person :P

So to avoid all negative emotions, let me be the one to remember the other person :)

How about you, what do you think and if you had to choose, which person would you be ???

People almost always remember me; heck, I had people greeting me in college and I had no clue who they were or maybe knew the person but not his/her name :/

I don’t really care if I’m remembered or not. I guess it’s because I have a familiar face.

But you didn’t answer the question. If you got to choose to be the person to remember or whom is remembered, what’ll you choose?

I’m not a fan of fame & would much rather be the person remembering.
