What would you do for money? How far will you go?
I think it’s more relevant to those who lack the availability of it or more importantly need it.
This question swirled my mind after watching “Indecent Proposal“, made me question my own hypothetical actions.
What would I’ve done, if I were put in such situation?
In relevant to my own life, what I do for a living. On days when I really hate my job and all I can think about it not coming back … good money … pops in my head!
The weird thing is when I got my first job, I was being paid less than my peers but I wanted this job and not any other job. When I started my second job, there wasn’t any increase what so ever!
I can not claim that I was brought up without any money, but as I make my own now and see what I can afford now compared to let’s say college days to first jobs and going on till today, it’s so tempting to keep hanging on just a little while longer. I know deep in my heart, I can adjust to whatever I make, but I still have some tolerance in me, so it keeps me going!
But this is shallow compared to a situation where one is in deep need and there is no way out or let’s say no clear way out yet, unless accepting something that you could not have imagined you would’ve ever do.
Some people may know the answer, others won’t. Some already been in that situation. I for one, can’t claim what I will or won’t do unless I am put in that situation and hopefully I don’t get there.
If money is enough to give financial stability, then it should be enough. But as you have more of it and see what you can do, especially if you didn’t have much to start with, you start to appreciate it more and put value to the abundance of it. It’s not only for getting the essentials, what you need it’s now about getting what you want! You can now loosen up the tight belt wrapped around your budget and breathe in.
Not having to worry about money sure makes life easy. Should you save for a rainy day but what if this day never comes and it would have been better served as a nice getaway to relax and enjoy.
The more responsibility you have, the more you need to think about it.
How far will you go for the money? What are your limits if any?
No matter what you think you’ll do or won’t do, the true answers come in real life scenarios in which real people and real emotions and stakes are put in the equation of it all.

True. The more you get, the more you want. When I started, I barely spent 100 KD a month. It was just a changing number in my bank account, but then I started opening my eyes on things, got married as well, and then ohh… what can I do to gain more? I have a long list of wish items.
The movie really makes you wonder right? I suggest you watch The Brave for Johnny Depp. There isn’t much action in the movie, but you’ll know my point when you see it. Dont even read the plot, watch it when you dont know anything
