Full Moon!

I think I’ve seen enough butt cracks that’ll last me a life time. If I had credit everytime I witness the horror, I’d have enough to pass to my family also!!!
How hard is it to find a decent pair of pants that doesn’t wiggle its way down for a public display everytime you bend, stretch, stand, lean forward, in fact any activity except sticking your behind against the wall.
They always seem to be in my face, me standing in the queue waiting to talk to the porter and the guy in front of me leans forward, couldn’t you just talk standing up straight!
In the classroom, the girl sitting in front of me, all she did was stand and reach for her books on the table. BAM!
There are people walking with their jeans riding low showing their underwear, seriously the jeans is hanging at the middle of their buttocks, going on and off the bus, all they seem to do is make sure that the jeans are in place, displaying half their underwear to the outside world! What are these kind of pants called, butt pants, butt lifters, middle butt pants, peaking crack pants ???
Unless you breathe through your ass, we don’t need to see it.
Unless you have some important life saving message written on your underwear, we don’t need to see them.
Since I live on campus, it was mandatory to attend a seminar conducted by the fire inspector, the fireman informed us to be safe and there will be a sudden inspection to our rooms to ensure we don’t harbor any fire hazardous items and in the end to get out when we hear the alarm and not to take time picking our things but to be smart enough to wear something because we might be out at night for a while while they finish their inspection, he stressed on “wear” issue and then blasted a butt-naked man coming down the fire stairs!!! Saying, “You don’t want to be in his place, do you!!!”
Men and Burping

What’s the deal with men and burping out loud!
Seriously, what do they achieve from that? Is it about self esteem, power, challenge, hidden desire …
Belching, it is a disgusting habit, you want to do it, do it ALONE! Not even at home, amongst family members. NO, ALONE.
We are standing within a group and there is this guy drinking Dr. Pepper and he is the one speaking, suddenly he stops, buuurrrrrrrpppp, then continues!!!
WTH was that ??? Not even, excuse me, or pardon me!
Couldn’t you cover your mouth ???
Memories of my brothers back home surfaced, the continuous battle for the loudest, ever lasting burp accompanied with drinking Pepsi. Ignoring our pleas for them to stop it at once!
This can extend to gas, anything disgusting that sure will annoy you, they’ll do!
The more you protest, they louder they get.
Do they view this as some kind of a contest in human nature power? I’m not sure, everytime I ask my brothers why they do this, they say, they can’t control it, innocently answer “شنو ما فيها شي”, or ignore you totally and continue the action accompanied with laughter, cheering and …
“لحظة لحظة اسمع هذي ” !!!
“أووووو … قوية قوية” !!!
Amazingly, they do seem to enjoy it, or perhaps the fact that it annoys us, I’m really not sure.

What I’m doing nowadays is loading my PC with different softwares that I’ll be using through the course, installing compilers and configuring them with the free programming editors that I found on the web. Some I found, licensed softwares, are distributed free for students, which made my day.
I’m looking for a MATLAB software and I was discussing our assignment with one of my colleagues and he said, “I have the CD, I can give it to you to install on your laptop”
“Really, isn’t it copyrighted, won’t we get into trouble …”
“I’ve had it for a while and gave it to all my friends …. ” … continues …
I space out a bit and go back in memory … not far away … “يعني انتي مو امضيعه بحولي … تشترين كوبييييز لي قبل” !!! Or did you forget your eMuling that consumed all of the bandwidth!!! 3aysha el-doooor … copyrighted and legal bullshit!!! LOL

Program Language Spaghetti

I don’t mean the coding itself.
I’m taking so far, C language, Java language, VHDL and MATLAB.
I haven’t programmed for a while and I’ve never took MATLAB.
So now the syntax of each programming language is overlapping the others, well it went a little bit further to include the functions as well 
In the Java lab, my partner and I, starting debugging a code we just wrote …
“Let’s put in a printf to see if it actually calls the function”
“OK”
“hmmmm, error … wait that’s in C!!!”
“OH, you made that mistake, I’m writing down that you’re telling me”
“Seriously MAN, it’s MY mistake … well I’m not to blame … too many things mixed together!”
Sometimes, I get out of a C language course to attend a Java lab and then attend a VHDL course!!!
Accommodation Tale

I’ve been going through loops with the bank here that I’ve opened an account with. It’s strange their banking services. It took me over 45 minutes to open an account and a couple of times to rectify my official papers, your entire name has to match what’s on the passport. If you write your family name with a ‘-’ and it’s not like that on the passport, then you should start taking it off when writing down your name on official papers.
After opening the account and setting my online access, which not surprisingly that I’ve forgotten the password to , because I couldn’t use any combination I knew, it was according to criteria they’ve set, I should’ve written it down Anyway, after finalizing the paper work, I was told, I’ll receive everything by postal mail. Really! My account details and pin number first, then after some days my credit card.
As it happens, the day I was suppose to receive my mail, the postal service here in UK went on strike!! Just my luck. I wouldn’t have minded at all, if it weren’t for my accommodation fees, which were due on the 24th this month.
Going back and forth and then giving up, surrendering to the fact that I’ll be charged with a late fine. I’ve sent an email on the 23rd to the accommodation office. But didn’t get a reply.

I live on campus and I am aware that I need to pay my fees shortly. I have gone to the bank to open an account a week ago but unfortunately my bank card has not been delivered yet. The account personnel stated there might be a delay because the postal service might go on strike. I was told that I can transfer the money to the accommodation account if I can go to the bank personally.
Is it possible to get an extension, at least until I get my bank issue sorted out, hopefully by next week. I want to know what my options are?

Great! Have to wait till Monday and sort it out, conclusion, I needed to go to another office to ask for a deadline extension, but fortunately the deadline for this payment is this Friday, but I thought I’ll ask for an extension anyway, who knows what’ll happen.

I was WOWed, seriously! I thought I was being ridiculous asking for an extension over the email but it worked YAY 
“الحمدالله” so that gives me two more weeks, the bank lady told me to wait three working days for my card, when I went to see them on Saturday. So I’ll check with them on Thursday morning insha’Allah if this drama isn’t resolved yet.
The obvious solution would be, can I come in and pick my card?
NO, for security reasons we mail them to you
I didn’t understand the security part in the snail mail method compared to me showing up personally with my passport as identification to pick it up!!!

Being helpless, clueless, is it a choice one makes, a habit or a characteristic by default implanted into some cultures into specific genders?
Raising individuals that completely rely on others to the point that they can not stand on their own two feet, is wrong.
Regardless of being a woman or a man, one should at some point carry their own weight. Be responsible for their own needs. Take charge of their lives.
It is sad that in our culture, weakness in a woman is in fact sought after, even if it is an exaggerated façade.
I’m not saying that women need to be strong as to not need the men in their lives, but being needy over every damn little thing is so annoying. That being said, it would be more appalling if it were a man doing that! Simple fact of a man malnourished because they refuse to feed themselves and loop to be waited on, or send their wives in the middle of the night to take the kids to the hospital because he’s sleeping or in the dewaniya.
I understand that projecting weakness empowers the person in front of you by default. Do we have to play the role of being helpless creatures to make someone else feel good about themselves and needed?
Being needed is a wonderful feeling, it’s not about the act can not be done without you, it just reflects you play a huge role in that individual’s life, but from a respectful point of view.
I think parents should stop shielding their daughters from ridiculous stuff and the outside world thinking it’ll turn them into these unthinkable creatures. Stop from raising their sons as these untouchable first class individuals. Let’s aim for sane, independent and healthy beings 
We are social creatures, GOD created us that way, GOD intended for us to seek others and group. We do need others and to be felt needed, as I always like to quote from my religion ”خير الأمور أوسطها”
Movie: Flashdance

A Pittsburgh woman with two jobs as a welder and an exotic dancer wants to get into ballet school.
If you’ve ever seen Jennifer Lopez dance video, where she’s this dancer and then sits on a chair and pours water on herself, it’s adapted from this movie. I didn’t know that!
When this movie ended, my only reaction was WTF. I watched it because a colleague of mine said this was their best movie ever! It’s not the best of anything ever.
I think it’s because it was made in the 80′s and she dances in a weird way and maybe the story was new, that’s why it was a big hit, other than that, from my point of view, there was no plot, she was welding, dancing in the club, welding, dancing in the club, it didn’t make sense and her character didn’t make sense at all. She’s a kid and yet has a relationship with a man old enough to be her father and sleeps with her but doesn’t allow her to smoke because apparently she isn’t old enough! I don’t know dancing, but even back in the 80′s, what she did doesn’t constitute as ballet dancing and give her a chance in one of the most elite ballet schools. The ending is disappointing You can tell I didn’t like the movie that much

Movie: Seven Samurai

In the early 16th Century, Japan was in the throes of civil wars and the farmers everywhere were being crushed, under the iron heels of cruel bandits.
That’s how the story line of the movie starts.
A village of farmers who are threatened by a group of bandits decide to hire samurai to protect them in exchange for nothing but three meals a day.
This is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The story is amazing and in such detail. Each character is important and there are several stories that emerge within the main plot.
It has action, comedy, drama and lots of people screaming and crying I do recommend it, if you like such movies.
It is about 3:30 hrs long, what I downloaded was in Japaneses with English subtitles. It’s in black and white.
