Java is also a part of it all, I need to refresh my Java badly.

My programme has about 15 students, 3 girls including me, and most students are from China!

We had a little test to assess our knowledge, I think I got three questions right and left all else blank, I couldn’t remember anything … is this a bad start! I couldn’t remember what (*x) in C language meant, is it to convert an integer to char, I wasn’t sure so I left it blank! We were required to design circuits, OK pass on that, I didn’t understand the question aslan! hmmmmm, we’ll get the feedback tomorrow, I’m thinking I’m going to be at the bottom. I’ve no recollection, I do need to refresh but we are going to have introductory courses next week so that’ll help.

We had an option to enroll in C language, isn’t it dead and replaced with C++ with all the object oriented concept from when Java came out ???

They had a health and safety session to familiarize us with all the safety procedures, they are quiet organized, you aren’t allowed to plug in any electronic device, unless it is tested and is safe to use.

One idea about Kuwait they have, is we are sleeping on money beds, seriously we are better off than others, but I for one ain’t sleeping on one, do you know any ??? Most Kuwaiti’s “فخفخة على الفاضي” living from paycheck to paycheck!

On my university email they sent out security alerts, this has been stolen, suspicious person spotted roaming around campus and ran away when security personnel approached him! OK, why do I need to be notified of that!!!

Tomorrow they’ll assign us to our groups YUP we have no say in it, as they say this happens in the real world, most academics have no idea what happens in the real world
