What’s Up LONDON!

YUP, insha’Allah I’ll be heading to London for a few days if everything goes smoothly tomorrow, I’ve been quiet busy with all my assignment and course work! Anyway I’m supposed to finalize my report today to hand in tomorrow and off I go on the 2 PM train, which I haven’t booked yet! Nor the hotel for that matter! Anyway, if it is meant to be, it is meant to be.

So for all of you who have been to London, RECOMMENDATIONS, and I’m a tube kinda-girl, if you are generous enough to provide directions, I do have a map but I’m not that good in reading those, and I don’t think London people are nice enough for me to ask them for directions! So I guess, I’ll just wander around and see where my feet take me :D

There’s lots of Christmas stuff going on, covent garden have a christmas fair going on…

Hyde park are having a winter wonderland; market stalls, fair rides, roasted chestnuts all that … very pretty..

What elllllse… trafalgar square have the big tree up, with carol singers from 5pm…

i’d avoid any shopping on oxford street, its mayhem out there, but a quick walk down oxford and regent to see the lights at night would be nice…

if you do want to shop, or perhaps hang out indoors for a while, Westfield at shepard’s bush will do nicely, my fav part of Westfield is the food! cupcakes everywheeeere….

Like you said, walking around aimlessly is my fav way to waste a weekend here…

    Have fun babe!

    you did ask for directions…

oxford street- i’d get off at marble arch-central line(red), walk all the way to oxford street station, where u turn right into regent..ask someone on the street for directions, most will be nice.

covent garden- covent garden station-piccadilly line(dark blue) you could also get to here from regent…just ask…

trfalger square- its a short walk from covent garden, or regent street… asssk..

everything in london is to be seen ;)

so since you are a tech person

    http://www.visitlondon.com

it’s the best, you can look into lists of all places to go top ten attractions and what’s on in theater
catching a show is a must how about lion king or mamamia
if it’s not super cold for a bus tour then you should go for it
you would want to pass by Harrods
    and attend some special exhibits

also this one should be helpful

    http://www.timeout.com/london/

it’s better to ask professional ppl
I mean sellers/ workers other than ppl passing by the street

they have the black directions for landmarks it’s very good to follow

try a day of wondering around and wonder at what you’ll come across ;)

    ENJOOOOOY
