What the Buzz

So if I have something should I Buzz it ?

Or Tweet and Flickr it and it will be Buzz-ed!

Should I wave it?

Or simply email it …

Maybe blog it!

Perhaps just share it and comment …

facebook ???

Pick up the phone or should I use skype, hmmm …

Maybe I’ll just keep it to myself … brain hurts … too much distractions!

PS: How can I add my blog to my Google Buzz :P

Too much whining here. To tie your Buzz with your Twitter, Facebook, blog, and more, go to http://www.google.com/profiles. Then, you can search your tweets, blog, and facebook from your Gmail. I.e., a step closer towards your dream ;)

I meant will my blog create posts on Buzz, I couldn’t set up my website. There are only specific sites to set, twitter, flickr, reader, etc.

Yes Ofcourse. Just register your blog in the google profile

Link to your blog’s rss feed & it should pop stories automagically.

madree laish moo qadra astaw3ib :P

I edited my Google profile, but in the Buzz sites settings itself, there is no website add.

Let’s see if my posts get buzz-ed.

I turned off buzz so I don’t quite remember where it was, but I saw a link at the bottom of the profile to add sites, and if you add your site’s RSS feed there, it should sync nicely.

Add links from below this page I even tried adding your blog to my profile :P

  8. #8 by Bloggylife on February 13, 2010 - 10:22 PM

I already have it there :P

Aslan my posts are not being Buzz-ed directly. My posts are tweeted and my twitter is Buzz-ed, so my tweeted posts are buzz-ed :P LOL … too much ROFL

  9. #9 by Bashar on February 13, 2010 - 10:27 PM

That is too spammy, if ur blog posts were buzzed.

  10. #10 by Bloggylife on February 13, 2010 - 10:29 PM

So many choices to go with! I added my blog to Buzz :P

Just go to your profile and add your blog link as the spot, then go back to shared sites on Google Buzz and it should show up! :D

  15. #15 by Bloggylife on February 15, 2010 - 1:24 AM

Seems a lot of people are heading down that road.

Google took an aggressive approach in promoting the Buzz… Activating it by default, assuming friendship with any person you exchanged emails with, even your ex-spouse whom you exchanged with harsh emails would end up a friend in there.

Also, they forced email alerts on you with no way out (no direct way that is). Despite me liking it after the few tweaks, I still say Google DID evil here. Lots of it.

I’ve noticed that, I’m even following people who don’t have Google account to begin with. I just adjusted the settings. Kind of reminded me of the facebook default security settings. 3ala kefhoom they set stuff up!

  18. #18 by Shaymaa on February 16, 2010 - 6:06 AM

haha, the google buzz settings make facebook look like Mensa designed it.

  19. #19 by Bloggylife on February 16, 2010 - 10:32 AM

    Shay, who’s Mensa :P

  20. #20 by Bashar on February 16, 2010 - 10:42 AM

Bloggylife: I had same question until I Googled it. Shayma always has strange things to come up with :)

But I must say, I like Google Buzz simplicity much more than having to pass IQ test to be able to use FB settings, which will change next morning without prior notice.

One of the reasons why I LOVE Shay :D

    Thanks Bashar :)
