Pop: This is a widely used verb which means put, get, go … it can be used anywhere.
“I’ll just pop that recipt in the bag for you”
“I’ll just pop out for a minute”
“Can you pop in your card in the machine, please”
Love: A term used by everyone. As we were advised, it doesn’t mean that the person loves you

A friend was in Australia with his buddies from the gulf region during a festival, and he stood nearby smoking when this Australian fella came over. The following conversation took place:
Fella: “G’day mate! Can I have a fag? Any fag .. I’ll give you $2 or $4 a piece”
Friend: *shocked* … looks at the guy … turns at his buddies … they’re hairy, greasy & ugly…
Friend: “Excuse me, what?”
Fella: A fag! Any piece .. come on mate .. I’ll give you $4 a piece! I really need a fag …
Friend: still in shock .. again looks at his buddies…
Friend: “What do you mean by a fag?”
Fella: “A fag! A cigarette! a smoke! A FAG!”
The fella then realizes what my buddy took it for and both of them started laughing hysterically.
Friend: “Here you go… 2 cigarettes! But honestly, if it was the *other fag* which one of these guys would you have picked up???”
Fella: Any one mate!
*laughs*
& my buddy gave the fella the fags for free :p

There are classes in Britain, so Loo might be used by a certain class of people and not the other.

Here they say, I’ll give you a ring
