Rightful Thoughts

Everyone has the right to form their own opinion.

Everyone has the right to change their opinion without being judged.

But NO one has the right to change their opinion and expect everyone to change theirs too!

My wife is finding it hard to accept the second statement.

When we first got married I was very conservative, attended religious gatherings, staunchly pro-Iran and aggressively anti-US.

Now I’m almost the exact opposite. People’s opinions change, especially if they’re thinkers. It’s a fact of life many find difficult to accept.

nemo, Exactly! This is not right, isn’t it?

Haider, totally agree, but I understand her point of view if she chose you because of your opinions :) and then you changed your mind, see point 3 :P . People need time to adjust.

I agree w/ all the points but only partially w/ point #2
Some people r judgers, its just the way they r. They also have the right to judge since it is the Opinion

You have the right to change your opinion absolutely. But you can’t expect for people to just accept it.

Vinnie, I’m gonna have to agree with you on that one.

But while everyone is entitled to their opinion, and it’s natural for them to cast judgments, I wouldn’t agree with their judgment that it’s wrong for people to change their opinion.

I wrote a post on this a LOOONG time ago!
