hahaha! I know that process! Thats why I bought very little food that could expire! Pasta is fantastic since it would last for months and only take a little while to cook! I just make sure to pick up fresh ground meat!
And a lot of times! Take out was the solution! looool

LOL! Did you make that up? Cooking is usually not an option for me, but leftover is at times.
