Ma63mi

My big bro has been working on this site for ages! Finally finished most of it and still is tweaking here and there.

Basically the website, Ma63mi, is for reviewing restaurants, coffee-shops and home businesses. It also has a social aspect integrated.

The site is still new and data is still being entered. Some members are contributing to data entry, me being one of them ;)

Since the handful of my blog readers are in IT, I decided to blog it instead of emailing it, your input is valued. The site is built using Joomla CMS and several Joomla extensions.

Sign up and be a regular member commenting and contributing or request administrative privileges to enter new inputs.

He’s still working on speeding up the site, Arabic support and minor stuff here and there.

Fabric Conditioner

I LOVE Marks & Spencer. Though their products are a bit pricey compared to others but they are worth it! I got this fabric conditioner and added just a full cap with each laundry patch, the beautiful smell stays forever! I walk sniffing my white shirts :P I used it with both colours and whites but not on those with labels that clearly states no fabric conditioner.

It is amazing :D I wonder if M&S back home has these kind of products, I don’t usually go there. They should totally open a full M&S back home. Selling food, they are committed to quality and healthy food and Kuwait needs this so bad. Unless mother M&S didn’t allow the Kuwaiti branch to include food because they are afraid they won’t keep up the quality! They do sell their own products and their fruit yoghurt, daily salads and fresh bread selection, heavenly :D Not to forget the hummous :P

Fairy Power Spray

My new favourite product, my hero, my fairy power spray :D

You can forget scrubbing and leaving dishes in hot water or any other solution or approach you take to clean grease out of dishes, ovens, pans and trays.

I went and got those hard metal scrubs and soaked my oven tray in boiling water and still some of the grease was there! This spray got it out, well not from the first time around but bit by bit until my tray is sparkling clean, I sprayed it four times just to get everything out, even the edges cleaned off.

And the cool thing is that you can spray, aim, spray, aim, spray ;) Leave it for about 15 – 30 minutes  depending on what you are cleaning but not longer as I did :P and just use a rough surfaced sponge soaked in warm water and the grease will come of just like that, no need for tedious scrubbing. If there is still another layer of grease spray again and leave it and then clean.

I really loved this, I spray it in the oven, in the microwave and the grill.

It was worth every penny, it cost me 3 pounds. Need to stock in more of it, though I doubt I’ll be using the oven or tray anytime soon, since they are so clean and I spent quality time cleaning everything up ;)
