I'm writing from my mobile so this will be brief.

From the examples he gave was how Europe was struggling in the 18th century in wars declared in the name of the Chruch & Christianity, while in Bosnia, Christians, Jews, Muslims & people of other beliefs lived together in harmony.

As for art, imagine a mosque being built the way catholic churches were built (structure design). Imagine a Christian school built the way Arabic houses & mosques were built.

Imagine a public library with graffiti walls, Thuluth inscriptions on the ceiling and other cultur and religious blends in one place.

Paintings are sometimes not understood until the life of the painter or the circumstances that lead to drawing it are known. So art isn't straight forward always, but the mind absorbs more & more with time until it can start linking things together.

Well, you have 1/2 of the "spell and pronounce procrastinate" out of the way (unless you used a dictionary :P).

I wish you every success with your resolutions.

As for me, I have a tendency to think about 101 projects at the same time, without giving myself a chance to focus on one task at a time. I feel I need to do it all, then end up doing nothing.

So the major goal for me is to break out of the bottleneck I'm trying to stuff myself into.

I have the same issue on my Mac Book Pro. It seems to be a tracing cookie. I cleared the cookies in the Firefox preferences, which temporarily removed the yandex.ru cookie, but it recreates itself. Does anyone have an idea how to permanently remove it?

I thought that at first, a DNS issue, but if it were it will affect all the browsers activities not just chrome.
I did check on all my machine's DNS settings & all seems fine. Though I'm not 100% sure how Mac OS works, ex. in Windows there's hosts file, not sure what's Mac equivalent, if any.

Those who are afraid of making mistakes are a small percentage, most just don't want to think! They do not like to be challenged!
Haider you will not believe what they are used to! Sometimes it's the instructor's mistake for making the class have a copy/paste mentality!

It sounds like a DNS issue. A server may have moved or changed its IP and your DNS server was giving you out-of-date records. Either that or there was DNS cache poisoning,

Something is seriously messed up in our education system. The students are too focused on memorizing, and not enough on understanding (if at all). You put some extra whitespace in a piece of code and they would think they've never seen the code before.

And they're too afraid of making mistakes or giving wrong answers. So they prefer to stay quiet and wait for the right answer to be given, and they can repeat it.

I want to take a different approach next semester, by encouraging students to make more mistakes so they can get through their fears and direct their energies on learning, instead of worrying so much about their grades.

It's sad when you realize that you care more about the students' future than they do, but sometimes you have to accept that their life decisions are theirs to make.
